New ideas, failed ideas, good ideas, so many ideas.

We tried Seattle and it didn’t work. In 2021 my hubby and I went to Oregon and then back again. And then we went to Oregon 15 times. To be very clear: I really f’n love Oregon. I think we’ve explored the coast in every single detail from Astoria to Yachats, always coming back to Cannon Beach. I don’t really like the rain but my love for the ocean makes me forgive the rainy weather.

In case if you don’t know it’s almost impossible to rent anything decent (in terms of life quality OR price) on the coast and at the time buying was still out of the question. Not that it is easy or cheap to buy there now! The point is: if you’re asking me how come we’ve never ended up (so far) moving to Oregon: that’s why.

Still, that didn’t stop me from going there at least once a month throughout 2021.

I had an idea to buy a motorhome and do travel blogging and photography blogging from Oregon. I thought about a dog influencing business with an oceanside backdrop. I had an idea about creating a business to digitize art for the local galleries in Cannon Beach and Portland. I didn’t do any of that mostly for the lack of trying, laziness and procrastination. I did shoot a lot. Like A LOT. Believe it or not I still have full galleries with thousands of undeveloped photos from those days: client’s photos come first and after I finish editing one gallery I skip to the next one and there’s simply no time to edit my own photos. One day though.

At the end of 2021 we moved to Chelan, WA but my heart is still buried in the sand dunes of Neahkanie.
