Is this the End of Summer?

I’ve heard a lot of opinions on when’s the official end of Summer and I change my mind about this all the time too. After all, besides the excessive heat |sarcasm| why would you want the Summer to end?
I’ll be definitely wearing my summer outfits and shoes as long as I can because there’re only 3 months of Summer and the whole 9 months of everything else.
I’m not a very outdoorsy person but about 4 years ago I discovered a passion for paddle boarding and I often like to joke that I don’t exercise unless you count SUP and hot yoga and it’s mostly just standing and laying around anyways. Sometimes I take out my paddle board on the lake even after Labor day and quite often way before Memorial Day but nothing beats a nice morning paddle board ride in July or August. I’ll definitely miss warm water and the views.
I wonder if Pantone has this color somewhere in their catalogue: I’m talking of course about the Summer Skies Blue.

If you only just saw people paddle boarding and you feel like this is definitely your thing I suggest starting with a well tested, nicely priced and very stable inflatable like this ROC SUP. It comes with a bag, a leash, an oar - everything you will ever need, really.
I would only suggest checking with your local laws and regulations: you will often require to have a life jacket/vest attached to the front of your paddle board or to wear one. I definitely won’t hurt if the currents are strong and you aren’t a great swimmer. I don’t wear one any more because I feel pretty confident on my SUP but I bought this life jacket years ago and I’d definitely recommend it. I’d also recommend sizing up :-)
I can’t believe this weekend flew by so quickly and I’m just not emotionally ready to step into Fall even thought September is my birthday month. If you think about it I guess I am ready or I will be, soon.
