How come you can’t book a sesh for this weekend and why October & November are the busiest months for family photographers

What if I told you that the best time to take family photos is in April? Seriously, that’s the truth. Here’s why: Winter is usually too cold, in Summer plans always change at the last minute in favor of a fun trip or a vacation and Fall is the busiest season for photographers.

It’s almost like everyone who wants to get their family photo taken in time to get their Holiday cards made suddenly remembers it in mid-October at best.

I always WANT to work with you - trust me, more than anything, but it takes time to plan & arrange the session. After the photo session itself I need to make sure I dedicated enough time to the editing process to deliver the best possible images to you - that can never be a rushed job! All of that being said I wish I could schedule more family sessions in Fall but it is what it is: the cutoff date for all Holiday Themed family sessions is November 7th which gives me enough time to deliver the images to you and always leave the time for you to order the prints & holiday cards!
